i know that "pregunta" actually means "question" in spanish, but my sister and i say pregunta for pregnant because it sounds better than "embarazada" which sounds like embarrassed...
so i guess i've developed hypoglycemia. it's pretty inconvenient. this morning we went to some friends' house to have breakfast and as we were leaving i'm suddenly about to pass out and incoherent and bleh! we had just eaten like an hour before. it's very strange. but i guess this means i'm being healthier because i'm not giving in to every whim and fancy i've got at the moment. i'm not using this pregnancy as an excuse to indulge. although now i feel a little less guilty for eating what i want a little more often than i did before i was pregnant!
i went to the doctor thursday and everything looked ok. he didn't do a sonogram, but i haven't had any issues like before for a couple weeks and the heartbeat was really strong. thank God. i'm so glad to not have to worry about this for now. in a few weeks i'll go in to have a big sonogram to find out the gender and see if the placenta has moved. i cannot wait for that! of course that's one of the best appointments! then we can finally settle on a name and start referring to the baby as that. if it's a girl, we like olivia katherine. olivia was my grandma's name. and we still don't have a boy name picked out. hey! maybe we won't even have to. that would be easy. :)
jonah is so silly. he can say mouse now, too. yesterday i went grocery shopping with him and he just starting saying "baboon". was he thinking about baboons before that? haha. he makes me laugh all day long.
nothing else is new. i'm about to fall asleep due to my latest hypoglycemic episode, so goodbye.
