good-bye spring break

well, spring break is over. matt took a few days off last week, which means a break for him and for me. [when he takes time off, i get some help with jonah and other housely things, so it's a break for me, too.] we had a good week, albeit busy. i love getting to spend time with my little family. i love my boys so much! (p.s. as a recovering boy-crazy girl, you better believe i love saying "my boys"! haha) jonah and i have already gotten back into our regular routine with laundry and whatnot this morning. he is currently taking a nap, which reminds me of something else i want to tell you.

so the iphone is probably the greatest invention of all time. we are living in a super technological world, but the things that can be done now continue to blow my mind. well our newest excitement involving the iphone is the white noise app. 1- it's free!!! (well, the lite version) 2- it has all different types of white noise. jonah particularly loves the waves, and we have been using it since last week to quickly get him to sleep. it's so amazing! yesterday we went to have st. patrick's day dinner (i know; it was a few days ago) with my mom and sisters and we plugged my phone into the car speakers and were able to have it playing throughout the car, too. boom. right to sleep. i love it! and it's free! wee!

also, i have been weaning jonah for a little more than a month now, and we officially stopped yesterday. it's funny, because everything i've read about it is so right on. it's emotional, because you are ending a phase with your baby, while at the same time being a little bit freeing. i cried about it the first day, but once i got it out, i was good. plus, most importantly, i still get to live with jonah! he's still my son, and he's still here, and we still get to be together. that's the best! :)
