jonah keeps on growing! not that you would expect anything different... now he is starting to grab onto toys and yesterday he was grabbing my hand when i put it in front of him. it was so sweet. also there's this little book called Who Do You See? and it has a little mirror on the cover. he LOVES that thing!! he laughs at it and tries to grab it when he's on the floor. he already could roll over from front to back but he is very close to rolling over from back to front now. he rolls up on his side and it'll happen any day now. i'm so thankful for that little guy and all the ways he grows and learns every day. he is so fun and i'm so thankful that i get to stay home with him. i am well aware what a blessing that is.
this past weekend, we took jonah to the childcare thing at church for the first time. of course, i cried as soon as we got in line and as we were dropping him off, but i knew he was in good hands. as we were sitting in church, i was still kind of freaking out but i was talking myself through it. he will be ok. this is good for him. if anything happens they'll page me. boom. there goes our number up on the screen. you better believe i BOOKED it to his room! haha. i think what happened was a mix: he was hungry, he was tired, and the person holding him was NOT mommy or daddy. we'll try again next week.
