so i caught a good video with our good camera of jonah rolling over a couple of times, but it is taking forever to upload. i have been waiting for it to upload to this website for like 5 hours now. but i took another one with my phone and emailed it to myself. it's just a quick snippet and it's not very good quality, but the other one is on my facebook, if you have facebook.

also jonah has been laughing and babbling and cooing so much. i know i've said that before in this blog but it's really ramped up. he is so fun and adorable. we just love him to pieces. he is currently going through a growth spurt right now... or he's about to... and that's a little exhausting. he didn't officially go to bed until 11 last night and then he woke up at 5. barf. but at the same time he was just laughing and so happy while he was awake so i couldn't even be annoyed with him.

you know, i haven't really done a thorough update in a while, so i'll just do that now while the video is uploading since it's going to take a while.

so our home group split in two (well, our church calls it a growth, or a birth but those words kind of gross me out for some reason, but it wasn't like a bad split. you know how some churches split because they disagree on something? well this is just that we were creating a new group off of what was already there). so now everyone in our home group lives within 10 minutes of each other. actually most of us live within 2 minutes of each other! it's exciting and we are all anxious to see what God has in store for our group. it'll be good, since it is God, after all.

also, it snowed here! sunday morning it was ca-razy. well, it was crazy for texas. we took jonah out for just enough time to catch a little video and some pictures. since then it has been super cold (the windchill this morning was 7 as matt left for the train), but it hasn't snowed anymore.

oh! and i made a quilt for jonah on sunday. he has a lot of blankets, but it's nice to have the kind that are a little thicker to lay on the floor so he can play. he had a couple of those, but they weren't anything i had picked out and he spits up on them so it's ok to have one more. plus it was really fun to make. plus i love it. plus now he has a blanket that his mommy made for him.
