33 weeks

well nothing new has really been happening with jonah. some days are alright, some days suck horribly. today at the doctor the nurse pointed out that my belly is pretty big so she assumed (correctly) that i'm probably pretty dang uncomfortable. i wanted to look at her and just say, "yes! take him out!" haha! otherwise things are going well with the pregnancy... except that i am so tired of it.

we went to our first birthing class on tuesday. we had to watch a lot of videos with a bunch of new age weirdos who refused to take epidurals. (not that if you are against epidurals that you are a new age weirdo, but these people were definitely new age weirdos.)  i'm like... why in the CRAP would you show that to a room full of pregnant women!?!? all of us are planning on getting epidurals so we don't really need to watch these creeps rolling around on birthing balls moaning like dying weasels. we also took a tour of the hospital which made reality sink in a little more. it was good but i kind of wish it could have been a little more personal so that i wouldn't have had to hold back my complete freaking out at seeing the little baby table where they'll clean him off after he's delivered. and i'll just say again that i am SO thankful that God blessed us with some very positive and happy friends that just had babies so i can think about how they are doing and calm down a little.

oh. by the way. look at these stupid overalls from the maternity store: loved by heidi klum. heidi klum is supposed to be an awesome designer; she is on project runway after all. um!!! dear heidi, no one wears overalls anymore unless they want to look like a 10 year old farmer. and seriously. if a woman is pregnant wearing overalls then she is going to look like a FAT 10 year old farmer. what were you thinking?!?!?!

man. can you tell how ready i am to have this baby born by how different this post is from the rest of them?

oh. and barefoot contessa is boring. that's all.
