relief

so for a few weeks i have been praying for some kind of relief, whether that was through my body feeling a little better or through cooler temperatures, and God really answered my prayers yesterday... the high was only 96!!! you have no idea how wonderful it was. it only rained for about 5 minutes, but it was cloudy all day and when you walked outside it didn't make you want to die! i was feeling pretty rotten most of the day, though, from toting this belly around, so we decided to go swimming last night. i haven't gone swimming since i've been so obviously pregnant, because it has been too hot. oh man. let me tell you. it was so wonderful to relieve some of the weight i have been carrying around with jonah!! the water was still grossly hot, but it was worth it to be able to stand without pain, which is becoming a little ridiculous. it's to the point where even if i haven't done anything all day, and then i make dinner, i'm miserable. i can't even make dinner! i love cooking dinner! well, it's almost over. then we'll have a cutie little baby here that will take all of our time, which is a much better and more desirable reason to not be able to make dinner.

oh here's a funny short story: so on tuesday night i decided i wanted to eat some fruit, and i ended up eating an entire container of strawberries without realizing it had happened until i got to the last one. haha! they were good. i wish i hadn't eaten them all so i could have some right now!

finally, i don't think i ever shared this, but it's a little project i did for jonah's room.

after reading the book of jonah in the bible, i found this verse, which so clearly lays out the gospel. i typed the verse up, taped them to the back of this textured cardstock, and used that as the template for stitching the words so they'd show up on the front. i poked holes where i wanted the needle to go through before i actually started sewing so that it would be even. then i added the ribbon and button embellishments before putting it in a 12x12 frame from hobby lobby. i couldn't put the glass back on the frame, because of the button sticking out, and you can see that one of the ribbons got a little loose when we hung it up, but we love it!

You are so good!

I can totally picture your face after you realized you ate all of the strawberries. hahaha
